UFO Reports 1970-1974
1972-??-??; Quebec, Canada
A witness who wishes to remain anonymous, was fishing at the lake when he noticed this strange object flying below the clouds. He grabbed his camera and managed to get this one picture before it flew away

1972-03-08; Salt Lake City, UT
Standing in a vacant lot near the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Roy Lauritson took several photographs of this hazy object hovering directly over the Temple. The negatives have been analyzed and found to be free of manipulation.

1972-05-21; Bahia, Brazil
At 11:25 a.m. on May 21, 1972 in Bahia, Brazil, a large disc-shaped object was photographed.

1972-09-24; Las Lunas, NM
A farmer in Las Lunas, Mexico, returning to town, spotted several small objects "fluttering" along a few dozen feet above the desert scrub. They were small, about three feet in diameter, silver in color and made a buzzing sound. Similar domed disc-shaped objects were seen and photographed in the same area about five years later.

1972-11-11; Mesa, AZ
On November 11, 1972, 3:35 PM, in Mesa, Arizona, Mr. Lee Elders steadied his arm by resting it on the top of his car as he aimed his Asahi Pentax 35mm SLR with a 200mm telephoto lens at the strange balloon-shaped flying object. He snapped 2 pictures and went back into the house.
Mr. Lee Elders, watching a football game at home on television, was called outside by some nine and 10 year old boys playing in the yard to see a flying saucer. He picked up his 35mm camera and walked out and snapped four pictures of this remarkable object.

1972-12-??; Trelleborg, Sweden
At 11:00am in December of 1972, 14 year old Joakim Perssons saw a bright silvery craft of an unusual circular form flying through the clear blue sky about 50 meters above the roof of his home in the city of Trelleborg. He grabbed a camera and took four color photographs of the mysterious thing before it disappeared.

Parker/Hickson Abduction Mississippi 1973
The Pascagoula Incident involved two men, nineteen-year-old Calvin Parker and forty-two-year old Charles Hickson, both of Gautier, Mississippi, who were fishing in the Pascagoula River when they heard a buzzing noise behind them. Both turned and were terrified to see a ten-foot-wide, eight-foot-high, glowing egg-shaped object with blue lights at its front hovering just above the ground about forty feet from the river bank. As the men, frozen with fright, watched, a door appeared in the object, and three strange Beings floated just above the river towards them.
The Beings had legs but did not use them. They were about five feet tall, had bullet-shaped heads without necks, slits for mouths, and where their noses or ears would be, they had thin, conical objects sticking out, like carrots from a snowman's head. They had no eyes, grey, wrinkled skin, round feet, and clawlike hands.
Two of the beings seized Hickson; when the third grabbed Parker, the teenager fainted with fright. Hickson claimed that when the Beings placed their hands under his arms, his body became numb, and that then they floated him into a brightly lit room in the UFO's interior, where he was subjected to a medical examination with an eyelike device which, like Hickson himself, was floating in mid-air.
At the end of the examination, the Beings simply left Hickson floating, paralysed but for his eyes, and went to examine Parker, who, Hickson believed was in another room. Twenty minutes after Hickson had first observed the UFO, he was floated back outside and released. He found Parker weeping and praying on the ground near him. Moments later, the object rose straight up and shot out of site.
Expecting only ridicule if they were to tell anyone what had happened, Hickson and Parker initially decided to keep quiet; but then, because the government might want, or ought, to know about it, they telephoned Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi. A sergeant there told them to contact the sheriff. But uncertain about the reception their bizarre story might get from the local law, they drove to the local newspaper office to speak to a reporter. When they found the office closed, Hickson and Parker felt they had no alternative but to talk to the sheriff.
The sheriff, after listening to their story, put Hickson and Parker in a room wired for sound in the belief that if the two men were left alone they would reveal their hoax; of course they did not. The local press reported their tale; the wire services picked it up; and within several days the Pascagoula Encounter was major news all over the country. The Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation (APRO), founded in 1952, sent University of California engineering professor James Harder to Mississippi to investigate; J. Allen Hynek, representing the Air Force, also arrived. Together they interviews the witnesses. Harder hypnotised Hickson but had to terminate the session when Hickson became too frightened to continue.
Hickson and Parker both subsequently passed lie detector tests. Hynek and Harder believed the two men's story. And Hynek was later quoted as saying "There was definitely something here that was not terrestrial".

1973-??-??; Ontario, Canada
In 1973 an unknown witness took several photographs of a strange circular flying object in Ontario Canada.

1973-01-04; Hamburg, Germany
At 12:52pm on January 4, 1973, Mr. Yusuke J. Matsumura, a Japanese businessman, was riding a domestic airliner from Hamburg to Frankfurt to catch a flight to Tokyo. As the aircraft was climbing out from Hamburg, he spotted a small, dark lens-shaped object several miles away and also up above the cloud level. He raised his camera and snapped two color photographs of the object.

1973-03-07; SC
On their family farm, several witnesses sighted this strange object as it floated in the sky towards them. As it got closer, the craft emitted a high-pitched whine before disappearing into the clear blue sky.

1973-03-07; Bangkok,Thailand
At 10:00am on March 7, 1973, Mr. Akita Takao, vacationing in Bangkok and Saigon, was taking in the sights of Bangkok, Thailand. He was on an excursion boat on the Mi-Nam River; and was passing one of the beautiful temples that sit on its banks. The light was good with the temples shining elegantly in the morning sunshine so he decided to take a picture of one of them. When Takao returned to Japan, he sent the exposed roll of film to his regular developer. A few days later when his prints came back from the processor, he was astonished to find the image of a solid-looking flattened, spheroid shaped object, with a hazy ring surrounding it in the center, suspended in the sky to the left of the temple he had photographed.

1973-04-17; Bali Island, Indonesia
Japanese tourist Ryo Terumoto, photographing the sacred Mount Gnung-Agun, captured a silvery metallic lens shaped flying object in the distance just below the left peak. Later analysis showed the image to be of a real object far away.

Houston,TX 1973
Another famous mutilation/UFO encounter occurred in May 1973 when Judy Doraty, Cindy Dorary (Judy's daughter), Judy's mother and Judy's sister-in-law were driving back from Houston, Texas.
The women suddenly saw a strange light hovering in the sky, the women all got out to take a closer look until the object disappeared. They then returned to the car and went on their way.
Later Judy began to have very bad headaches and anxiety attacks. After several doctors had examined her she was referred to ufologist Dr. Leo Sprinkle. He hypnotised her she reported the following.
"It's like a spotlight shining down on the back of my car. And it's like it has substance to it. I can see an animal being taken up in this. I can see it squirming and trying to get free. And it's like it's being sucked up."
She then went on to mention seeing her daughter Cindy on an 'operating' table. She went on:
"They don't listen, they just ignore me....go about their work as if it's nothing. They don't seem to have any emotions. They don't seem to care. They just take some samples from her...".
Many years later Cindy was also hypnotised, and recalled events which clearly backed up those of her mothers.

1973-06-??; Ontario, Canada
The photographer and a friend, standing in the back yard of a country home in Ontario Province, saw what they at first thought was an airplane approaching. Its silence and the very low level of the object caused one man to run for a camera. He snapped seven good color pictures of the object before it flew away. It was seen to disappear in the haze in the distance. The amount of haze in the photos increases in the last pictures as it moves away.

1973-08-??; Kaue City, Japan
In August of 1973, fifteen year-old F.S. was taking a picture of the night sky, when by chance he observed and photographed a brilliantly luminous capsule-shaped flying object. He had his camera set for a star picture when the unexpected object flashed into view in the night sky. It was quite bright and left a luminous trail in its wake. In the developed print the object shows up clearly against the dark skies. The photographer was using a Nikomat FTN camera with a Nikkor 50mm f1.2 lens mounted.

1973-09-02; Sayama, Japan
At 5:30pm on September 2, 1973, a silver cylindrical object with rounded ends was observed flying over Sayama. It looked like a vehicle reflecting the sunlight in the sky at first, and Mr. Hitoshi Mizutani prepared his camera to take a picture of what he saw. As he watched, it began to change color to red and then to orange in about five seconds. He took one color photograph of the mysterious craft with an Asahi Pentax SP camera with a Takumar 50mm f1.4 lens set at f4 and 1/500 second exposure on Fuji N100 film.

1973-10-03; Louisville, KY
"It was about 2:00pm I'd guess. I didn't hear anything. I had just seen two chipmunks scampering around the base of a Sycamore tree. Then I looked up and, by God, there it was...this round flying saucer. That's all I know to call it," reported this an electronics technician from Louisville. The man took six pictures in all, two of which were blurred because of the object's rapid departure. The pictures and negatives were examined by the COURIER-JOURNAL photo staff, and if the photos were faked, they were fakes of the highest quality. There were no other sightings in this area at this time

1973-11-03; Cocoyoc, Morelos, MX
November 3, 1973, 6:45 PM, Cocoyoc, Morelos, Mexico. With its arms splayed out evenly around it, an object descended and landed in a grass scrub area beside the road. It landed on the arms now projected downward. The best image has been enlarged for better examination.
A well known Mexican banker, his wife, children and their maid saw a strange balloon approaching rapidly from the east in a clear afternoon sky. It was trailing what looked like tentacles as it slowed in front of them and began to descend with the tentacles now splayed out around it. See UFO event Mexico,Morelos,Coyococ.

1973-12-31; Kaikoura, NZ
Called on assignment to investigate several previous sightings of UFOs, a camera crew from a local New Zealand television station chartered a plane to fly them across the disputed sighting area. While making their approach to the bay city where they were to land, they spotted this object maneuvering rapidly in the sky. Air traffic controllers confirmed their sighting as they tracked the object on radar.

Korea 1974
It was reported that at 0530 hours (ZULU TIME) over a HIGHLY RESTRICTED AREA in Korea an Unidentifiable Flying Object was hovering. Many attempts (Voice Radio Transmissions) were made to inform the intruder that they were in a restricted area and must leave at once. They, the military personnel, received no response to their order. Intercept Helicopters were dispatched, but the UFO just out maneuvered them, yet staying in the restricted zone. The intercept helicopters were order to stay their distance in case the UFO should decided to be come HOSTILE, yet maintain visual contact. No one wanted an International Incident, in case this happen to be a craft of a foreign government. According to the description of the craft, it was definitely not of a foreign government and surely not American made.
The UFO descended lower, and fertile attempts by the military personnel to warn the UFO to get out of the restricted area failed. The decision was made by the Commanding Officer at the site to "Shoot the UFO" out of the air. Two ground to air missiles were fired! They never reached their target.. two separate light beams came from the UFO and engulfed both of the missiles, the missiles disappeared into thin air. Needless to say this was observed NOT only by the Radar Operator, but by ALL personnel in the Communications Room, the Helicopter Crews, and many military personnel on the ground. This event had a profound effect on many of the military personnel. The UFO came lower and lower, the missile crew evacuated their post afraid the UFO would destroy the missile launchers. The Helicopters stayed their distance fully aware their weapons would be of no effect on the UFO observing on it's movements. The UFO stopped just about center of the site approximately 5 feet above ground...doing nothing, yet maybe something..observing and reporting? The event lasted over 20 minutes and as always (as in some reports) it just rose to the sky and disappeared at a high rate of speed. It left in its wake many bewildered and frighten military personnel to include the Commanding Officer of that site. Now came the difficult task of covering up the incident. The report detailed what actions that would be taken with each and every military personnel to ensure that they NEVER speak or write about what had occurred. Many of the military personnel, to include officers, requested an immediate reassignment on the same day of the incident.
This Flash message came in five separate parts, meaning five messages detailing the entire incident. You, the operator was responsible for ensuring the message was given the proper security classification markings and properly sealed in an official envelopes marked for the Commanding General. Since you were the receiving operator, you were to "HAND" carry the envelopes and deliver them to NO ONE ELSE except Commanding General. You did what you were ordered to! When you delivered them, you were asked by the Commanding General "You're obviously know the contents of these messages since you received them, and probably also read them. You are aware of the Secret Act of the United States and you being in the Military are bond by its law military and civilian concerning what is in the best interest of National Security. You are dismissed!" All Telecommunications (paper tapes) references to include the ribbon and logs surrounding this event was removed from the area you worked in and by person(s) who did NOT work in that area and were NOT assigned your military company and no one you worked with had EVER seen them before.
If this sounds like a "FICTION STORY", believe me it is NOT!
If you think I am writing this for "ENTERTAINMENT", I am NOT!
I was that Military Telecommunications Operator on Duty that day. I was the one to receive the report and read it's entire contents. I was the one who had to stamp and log each and every part of that report in. I had to seal them in military government envelopes and hand carry them to the Commanding General.

1974-03-23; Caleta Olivia, Santa Cruz, Argentina
At 7:30pm on March 23, 1974, Sr. Cesar Elorda, senior employee of Y.P.F. in Comodoro Rivadavio, was 16 Kilometers out of Caleta Olivia when he noticed a strange circular aircraft approaching from the ocean to the east. It was traveling in a westerly direction, across the highway. It continued its course and passed over his car. He could clearly see that it was not an airplane. He stopped the car, got out with his camera, and was able to get one good photograph before the object was too far away.

1974-04-03; Hokkaido, Japan
A circular object was spotted and photographed in Hokkaido, Japan during a student's visit to the Kanmon Bridge. This flying object was a circular disc of dark silver metallic color and had a wide dome on the top and a smaller dome centered on the bottom. It made a low undulating humming sound when close, but became inaudible before the object disappeared in the haze.

1974-04-09; Rio Negro, Argentina
At 2:00pm on April 9, 1974, Emilio Gonzalez, a fruit grower, was supervising an apple picking crew in his orchard, when someone noticed a dark disc-shaped object flying along slowly in the sky at low altitude. As it came closer, they could hear the object making a strange buzzing sound in its flight. Sr. Gonzalez, realizing that something strange indeed was taking place, jumped on his tractor and drove as fast as he could to the farmhouse to get his camera. He obtained it and got back in time to rejoin the others in the orchard. He readied the camera and managed to snap three good pictures of the object.

974-04-28; Hokkaido, Japan
A small craft of Saturn-shaped configuration was photographed over the road in Japan on April 28, 1974. It was just past 10:00am when Noboru Yoshida, a high school student, took 10 black and white photographs of a round, spherical-shaped object having a thick ring surrounding it at the middle. The pictures were made as it flew low in the sky over the road.

1974-05-06; Yaizu Beach, Japan
On the morning of May 6, 1974 , Mrs. Mitsuko Yasuzuka, a 40 year old teacher who lives in Iwabune, was walking on Yaizu Beach when she decided to snap a picture of a large black rock in the surf. When the developed prints came back from processing she was surprised to see that she had captured something else in the picture. There was a huge cigar-shaped dark object very high and far away in the sky beyond the big black rock.

1974-05-25; Kapiolani Park, HI
Tourists, vacationing in Kapiolani Park, were surprised by this UFO when it shot over the island in broad daylight. The entire encounter occurred within seconds. No military aircraft were observed following the craft.

1974-07-17; Belotie , Yugoslavia
While driving away from Belotie by way of the mountain highway system, an anonymous witness photographed this UFO. Hat-shaped in appearance, similar craft were observed by Mr. Rex Heflin, near Santa Monica, California 13 years earlier, and Mr. Amiel Barnea of Cluj, Romania six years earlier.

1974-07-19, Balcarce, Argentina
At 6:00pm on July 19, 1974, a low-domed, disc-shaped object paced an automobile being driven along Route 226 near Balcarce, Argentina, by Sr. Antonio Le Pere. It was near 18:00 hours when Le Pere noticed the object keeping pace with him from a position only a few hundred meters to his left, and barely 10 meters above the ground. Le Pere slowed his auto as he readied his camera, and snapped two good clear color pictures of the intruder before it started climbing and few away.

1974-07-29; Kirigamine, Nagano, Japan
At 10:00am on July 29, 1974, a high school student at Kirigamine, Nagano Prefecture, young Takayuki Hanawa photographed a dark cylinder-shaped flying object above a beautiful green field. Hanawa did not notice the object at the time he was taking the picture.

1974-08-??; Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
CAUS thanks Scott Santa (ssanta@neo.rr.com ) for this report:
August 1974 {date not remembered} Whilst at the Ascot Drive-in Movie Theater in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a HUGE sharply defined "boomerang" object came into view over the movie screen. It was so gigantic, I don’t really know how big it could have been, it seemed that you could hit it with a rock. It was so black in color that is blotted out the beautiful summer night sky, stars and all. It was moving in from the NW and traveled in straight line to the SE. It moved so slow, it appeared to be "floating."
People at the movie were moved to get out of their cars, pointing in excitement, and as it moved directly over the cars, the movie just stopped.
There was absolutely no sound, nor lights of any kind on the "thing." I know you’ve heard of the "OZ effect," I believe that’s what all of us were experiencing, because no one was saying or doing anything but standing there and looking at this object! And after the object passed over, very  robotic like ALMOST everyone just got back into their cars and the movie started again, I and a few others continued to watch this "thing" until it just disappeared into the horizon and I couldn’t make it’s shape out anymore. I’d say the entire sighting lasted 15-20 minutes or so, then I got back into my car and watched the rest of the show. I can’t remember why no one was asking anybody questions about this {myself included}, it was almost just like it never happened, but it did! I forgot the whole thing {or   it was wiped out of my head somehow} until a few years later, I happened to read a UFO book and someone described the EXACT same thing, then it all flooded back to me. I have lost touch with the person who was in the car with me, so I have been unable to get any corroboration! So all these boomerangs/triangles people are starting to report have been around longer than some might think. It may not seem like a big deal, but it has transformed my life perspective on reality!

1974-09-11; Langenburg, Saskatchewan, Canada
Found in a remote region of Saskatchewan near Langenburg, this circular patch of dead grass and dry soil displays the attributes of a UFO landing site. The grass itself is wound around in a circular pattern. People who witness the landings of UFOs find themselves sunburnt with a profound dryness of the throat, nose and lungs. Sometimes it takes days for these witnesses to overcome the effects of the phenomena.

1974-11-17; Viborg, Jutland, Denmark
Mr. Lauersen, walking his dog on Sunday morning, suddenly saw a strange hovering object which was surrounding its lustrous disc-shaped body with white cloud like vapor. He photographed the object some 250 to 300m distant and 30 degrees above the horizon before it disappeared.

1974-12-12; Obihiro City, Hokkaido, Japan
At 12:00pm on November 12, 1974, eleven year old twin brothers, Yoshitsugu and Katsuji Iino, were looking at the sky from a back window of their home in Obihiro City when they noticed a mysterious dark disc-like flying object hovering in the sky. One of them went for a camera while the other kept his eyes on the object, and they succeeded in snapping four color photographs before the object rose into the clouds and disappeared from view.

1974-12-21; Forbes, Austalia
Australian Aborigines have many legends detailing mysterious craft from the heavens landing on Earth. Ranchers in the Outback found that these legends may have more validity that they previously thought. After seeing strange lights in the sky, several ranch hands discovered this depression in the ground near the sighting area.

1975-1977
